Back in 2011, HBO subscribers were blessed with the release of Game of Thrones, a fantasy drama tv show. This adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s series called A Song of Ice and Fire has been a major success thanks to an in-depth plot, gory fight and war scenes, and the possibility of magic in dragon tamer Daenerys Targaryen.
Fans like Brad Reifler know that from season to season this series seems to continuously pick up momentum, and for those of us who haven’t read any of the books we’re having to distract ourselves another year before the next season comes out in Spring 2016. In the fifth season’s shocking finale many things were left up in the air. Sansa made a hasty escape with a demented Theon who appears to be coming to his senses, Daenerys being surrounded by a strange group of nomads after her dragon flew her away from danger, and a seemingly dying Jon Snow, who we’ve admired since the beginning for his valor and heart.
Well, we won’t have any answers anytime soon on these subjects but at least we know many of the directors from season 5 will be staying along with two new recruits Daniel Sackheim and Jack Bender. These directors have a vast amount of experience collectively and promise to make things even more interesting next year.
